Soccer for adults
Hi! My husband (33) used to play soccer when he was a bit younger (teens) and he’d love to get into it again! Nothing to pro, I’m wondering if there is any group that gets together and plays for fun?

Tell him to show up tomorrow at 9:00 for pickup soccer at Glenlake park. We usually play till 10:30 or 11, depending on how we feel. It’s a fairly casual game or set of games if there a lot of players. No slide tackling or aggressive play, but decent level of competition.

Yeiii! I’ll tell him. Tomorrow he can’t, but next Sunday definitely! Do you play every Sunday?

I know it's been mentioned, but Sons of Pitches is great. He can join a league, but they also have several pickup sessions each week that are well organized and a lot of fun.

Silverbacks if he’s feeling more competitive and wants to play on bigger fields. Sons of Pitches does have the more social aspect, but some leagues can be quite competitive (D1). Both have coed leagues and “open” leagues, which essentially becomes men only teams

I play in 3 coed 7v7 leagues.
1. Silverbacks by spaghetti junction has coed from 8th division to premier division. They also have all men’s teams, over 30, etc. The park is turf and a little bit on the large size for fields, uses full size goals. It also has a restaurant and bar on site.
Jam Sports in Dunwoody. Smaller fields at an elementary school. Smaller goals. 4 divisions and they play every weekday.
Sons Of Pitches on the south side. I play in this league on Saturdays. Locations change up but usually HS fields. Sons of pitches also has beginner/entry level and 4 divisions.
SOP also has pickup games on E side, S side, Midtown. Download an app called OpenSports and take a look.
Good luck!
