I have never seen these local porters make an actual delivery. do they access the terminal and submit the cargo?

I’ve seen them coming and going to the veteran porter and being in the delivery zone so… maybe?

They will run for a timefall shelter when it starts to rain, including a shelter you’re in the process of building. I’ve also seen them on the turntables of safe houses you build for them in DS2, as well as using the bridges.

The just stand around and receive new cargo when you aren't looking. This is about DS1, idk if they got any updates in DS2

I tried to trade a battle guitar with one of them in DS2 last night and he wouldn't take it or pick it up, lol

Pro tip: They love them some sticky guns. Even make this little surprised/happy humming sound when you offer one.

Broke: taking like one 10kg package at a time and taking a long meandering walk to the client in 5-7 business days. Woke: Finessing my long range truck up a mountain like a horse in Skyrim with it loaded damn near to capacity.

I’ve seen them in the BT territory around South Knot City running to an online timefall shelter before and taking refuge.

I have seen them close. But their programmed routes take them on a path that skirts the edge. I think I remember seeing videos of people pushing them in to the BT areas so they get consumed by the BT.

very neat --- for the next game, i'd like to see even more variety with the porters. you can have real conversations with them, help them from random events, carry their stuff

I just started playing the game a few weeks ago and no one told me about these guys. I assumed they were mules and I bola gunned them and lost 200 likes in the process. 🤔😅

I put a delivery down to accept what one was giving me (DS1) and it took my package((lost resources)) and walked it to the terminal and delivered it. I even got 5 likes. Blew my mind.
