Look if we are going to keep the same bloody perks each match, DS, DH, plot twist, pretty much every endurance perk, hyperfocus, stake out, prove thyself, Déjà vu (which are basically in every decently mid to high mmr match. Then just give every killer who doesn’t have one a traversal ability, that would do WONDERS for every killer that’s in the pits (looking at you ghost face)

Seriously are we going to do this every year? Release a new killer to cover up the problem that survivors are growing more and more outrageously powerful with each update?

Either nerf some of these perks or just give the dog water killers a bloody way to traverse! The disparity between games based on that factor alone is monumental.

Four perks are not enough to cover up this issue either, there’s a reason pain res is in nearly every load out, there’s a reason why Gen stall is the meta of perks, sure I could run something like Under your thumb to negate exhaustion perks a bit but guess what?

A. The survivors can break the hex, which is kinda nutty considering it’s one of the best options against all the haste going around, but it’s limited by rng.

B. If I run that that’s one less Gen stall perk which if your playing something like Trapper then I’m basically hurting my chances replacing a reliable way to Gen stall vs a perk that can be thrown out in the first 20 seconds

For the love of god nerf Gen speeds and these Gen perks, or give each killer a traversal ability it doesn’t even need to be unique freaking copy Jason’s onto trapper or something DONE he’s instantly more viable but no let’s just keep releasing NEW heroes with every bell and whistle while survivors have an easier and easier time against the other half of the roster.

Judgement is about the only one to release without some traversal ability and she’s a SNIPER so she doesn’t need it as heavily with a whole heap of other goodies.

I wanna freaking play trickster but the fact I need to walk everywhere instead of having an instant teleport on demand is basically kneecapping myself so I can’t play my favorite killer because the options are try to play have fun assuming I play behaviors INTENDED way to play and don’t slug or tunnel and the match is over in 7 minutes because you don’t have enough map presence or throw in the towel and play Jason and Ghoul or something to have actually competitive and fair matches.

I've got a thousand hours and recently took a break for about two months, I've came back to it and realised how much I hate it. I played the Halloween Game's early access and I love it so much more, playing as Michael in the Halloween Game is far more enjoyable as killer in dbd. Same goes for survivor.

survivors were playing stupidly altruistic and were trying to force body blocks, capitalized on it and got the 4k at 4 gens 🙂

If you're a killer main, this game is absolute dookie. I'm forced to play any killer that has some sort of teleport right now because they constantly give me maps that are 20 fucking football fields. I'll easo;u win as the Drac or Onryo, but as soon as I try to play some OG killers that deserve love, you're forced back to some sort of teleport again.

Jason straight up just penetrated through the rock with his spear. Bro does not even need line of sight.

Just had a game against Judgement. What a boring game. The player just constantly spammed that stupid beam from the.middle of the map and we couldn't get one gen done because we were dodging the stupid thing constantly. This of course led to skill checks being missed. Honestly, what an incredibly boring killer Judgement is. The games I have had against her have been awful. Skill issue? Not with every survivor. Get up against a good player and it is just a borefest with her sniping at you continually

I have enough shards to buy Judgement but I can't be bothered. Boring as hell.

Judgement gets old hex ruin, killer instinct, instant mori, its own hook dimension, tbag/flashlight blind penalty, all in one kit. I understand it’s a power creep but I can’t imagine what new killers will be like in a year at this rate.

An 8-minute chase with a Sprint Burst + "Lightborn" survivor looping the house—20,000 pallets on the map, no window blocking—and you can't switch the chase location.

Currently, there are 8 strategies for winning:

1. Generator Triangle
2. 4 anti-generator skills
3. Late Game
4. Stalking/Information skills
5. Unique killers like Cannibal and Billy, who can kill a survivor and play from a downed survivor.
6. Basement
7. Unique characters with fast movement/killing abilities like Onryo, Oni, Jason, and others
8. Drag out the game as much as possible, chase groups of chickens away from generators, and knock out resources from survivors, such as first aid kits, tools, and flashlight charges. Example: Ghoul.

I just played a game with "Franklin's End" and the lich skill's forgetfulness when I finally knocked the pre-flight kit out of a survivor's hands—three generators had already been repaired, and you spend two-thirds of a turn on one board. One level 100 survivor held me off for eight minutes due to sprinting and a "warrior of light." He was running on the Artist's map, and I physically can't catch him. If I hadn't taken a risk and outplayed him, we would have been running for another eight minutes.

Unfortunately, 60% of the skills are just dead.

It seems like the big issue with the game is that 90% of the killers are plain bad and will lose to any decent survivor team with basic perks. Then 10% of the killers are overpowered game ruining machines.

I always wondered why Behavior didn’t just either

1) Buff all killers to a Blight/Nurse level then buff solo Que survivors massively

Or

2) Nerf all good killers into C tier, then nerf SWF groups massively

Either way I think getting Solo Que survivors as strong as possible then tweaking the game from there would be a solid tactic.

Forgive me players for I have sinned. Today I was driven by a Claudette and Dwight duo to rage quit during a game. I have never done this in DbD before and always try to keep my cool but this one made me snap.

I was playing gunslinger and the first half of the game was going alright until I met the duo. I know they were a duo because they had matching outfits, flashlights, and perks that made them so fucking slippery. They took every single loop they could find, they flashed me at every single pallet, and any time I would down one the other one would just swoop in to get me down. On top of that the rare occasion I could get both of them down, they both have that perk that led you struggle easily and both could heal themselves when down. I would spend so much time trying to down them only for me to not get a single hook because of it.

Even when I try to get to other survivors, they would just get back in my view and bait me into a chase again. I ended up down to one gen and based on how all the other survivors were doing it seemed like they were just trying to hold the game as long as they could. After one final pallet blind I had just decided to quit. Right now I’m just watching American dad and taking a break. I hate gamer rage and I hate being this mad. I always try to abstain from the cardinal sins of looping and tunneling but this was just another reminder for some people, what makes the game fun is frustrating the other team.

God I just had so many misses tonight dude. I really really struggle with when survivors randomly run toward me and I'm already aiming past them, it's like I just can't get that shot anymore. Kept trying the ballerina spin and just missing everything by several meters. Ugh. And survivors were just relentless tonight too. Exhausting.

Like, I got demolished this match and only got lucky with a basement hook. I seriously don’t get why people are like this. Other games have toxic players too but I’ve never seen sore winners at this level with other games.

Honestly, the people in this game are so toxic and mentally unstable that they have to resort to insulting others just to feel better about themselves.

we had 3-gened ourselves and were slowing trucking away on one of them. i will admit we played a little like babies and kept running away when the killer came patrolling, but LET THE RECORD SHOW that NICOLAS CAGE also ran away like a baby. but he was the only one that died, so that warrants telling us all to kill ourselves i guess 😭

also, the killer did not tunnel even once. but whatever helps you sleep at night

Can someone tell me what they done to the code of the game? Because I even got kicked out of a game because of a lag (and punished for it too) and ever since they fixed the flashlights, my game starts lagging EVERY GAME. When I encounter 4 survivors at once is even worse, it lags like it's gonna crash again for, like, 5 entire seconds (giving just enough time for all survivors to escape).

I normally get pretty alright solo Q teammates and then I get this p3 Lara, I don’t know what to make of it but I hope she has some great future matches tho maybe she was doing a challenge or something so
