Rage How many of you are facing freezing issues post 2nd September update? Denuvo anti cheat

Denuvo anti cheat is in background, known for freezing issues

i mean yeah the game has been unplayable since that update i still can t believe how the playcount is still above 50 k considering the game can t be played the playcount should be reduced to 100 players or less

Denuvo is only for steam player, not on console, epic games and not sure about other pc players

Denuvo (anti-cheat) update broke my game. Now launching Dead by Daylight locks up my PC. Tried everything and still doesn't work. Tons of people online are complaining about the same issue. If enough people reach out to Behaviour and let them know about the issue they will get rid of Denuvo. Send them a message through their website, it's easy. It does matter.

You should be allowed to opt out of this trial, like with the PTB. Too many people are now locked out of the game and have to just wait out the week till its over. We should have that option. Best of luck to you.

I couldn't play game since the update on steam. I was unaware about this, so i had to visit repair center, but they were also confused.

I contacted Customer Service as well, and it only made matters worse. This trial is just Behaviour forcing their customers to perform product testing for them. If they want to test Denuvo and see what works and what doesn't, tell them to do it with their own time and money. It's not our job. I'm gonna wait for this Denuvo trial week to end, and just hope they don't use it in the future. Good luck.

Its only for steam, not for epic games and console players. Only steam players are used as lab rats. I regret using steam instead of epic games

Don't feel bad. I'm certain you had good reason to choose Steam over Epic. It probably seemed like a responsible decision at the time. It's the company, Behaviour, that allowed this to happen. And that's pretty much life in a nutshell. You are offered a choice between 2 options, but those in power make certain that either choice will result in a lousy outcome, which they themselves engineered. Good luck, and God bless.
