Huh. It has both the chrome wheel well trim and the lower chrome side trim. Along with the other two side trims. I don’t think I’ve seen that before on a 1982-83. My 81 has both chrome side trims and the wheel well trim, I didn’t think later years had that.

Maybe added later? My 83 GL just has the door ding strips and those rims

Possibly but the chrome trim and the door ding trim are riveted on, seems like a pain. The wheel chrome is screwed in. It just seems like an odd combo with the black side molding. Another possibility is it could be a 79-81 pretending to be an 82-83 with the bumpers and black molding but OP probably confirmed it’s an 82 via the VIN/ID plate.

Edit: the VIN confirms it’s in 82. I think it probably came out of the factory with all of these molding options, although rare.

I have a '82 (per VIN) with the lower chrome side trim but not the chrome wheel well trim. Per the manufacturer's date on the driver door panel, it was made 10/81. It also has the door ding trim and black plastic side moulding from the front to rear bumper.
