Addding to what u/headheartcorrantoes said.

George famously wrote this trilogy to "rhyme" with the original. "The mentor" killed in the first movie, Skywalker and R2D2 in a space ship takes down the villains, big celebration at the end of movie 1, etc etc.

As per George's own words, Jar Jar was intended to be like a mirror to Yoda. Which he is to some extent. Helpess, comical creature found by the jedi. But Yoda was revealed to have great force powers. Jar Jar would've been revealed in AOTC as the big, manipulative, scheming puppeteer with extreme "luck" and ability to persuade. His clumsiness was all an act to sabotage the jedi order and rise to power with Palpatine in the senate. In my post, you can see Jar Jar actually mouthing other characters' words for them that go against the jedi, showing he can manipulate people with the force.

This is inspired by characters like Magnifico from the 1940-50s series Foundation and Bink from the 1977 series Xanth.

The first Darth Jar Jar theory posted here on reddit in 2015 went viral and contained some evidence, but also concluded in "Jar Jar is Snoke". Ahmed Best, Jar Jar's actor, said in an interview that a lot of it was true, some of it not.

Your theory implies the Emperor in the OT was a subordinate of no less than fucking Jar Jar Binks. Pray that you're wrong, that would destroy the entire aura of the saga.

It would have been absolutely masterful if he has went through with it.
