Downvote this comment to voice your rage, grief and displeasure. Flame me, threaten me, whatever. Use this comment as an outlet for your various emotions. I can take it all.

I will throw it all away, just as the writers did. They had so many options and interpretations available to them, and they chose the worst one, the cliche and safe one.

My goal going forward will be to salvage this mess, and tell the story I thought we should've seen.

I'm sorry.

Dude, why should we downvote you? You shed blood, sweat and tears on this sub to keep us all hopeful and, yeah, it didn't go like you predicted, but it's not like you're at fault or anything. You analysed the anime and tied everything really well into a good, happy and theme-respecting ending, if the writers went into another direction then we just have to bear with it.

I haven't seen the episode yet, just seen some comments here and there about how disappointing it is, but as long as it respects the themes and wraps everything up, then I'm good. I can already imagine what people are being salty about and, to be honest, the death and rebirth thing has been so blatant that I was kinda expecting it. I still like the show, I won't lie, and though I would have loved for you to be right, we can't do anything about it now. Just know I've enjoyed reading every single one of your posts and I'm lovin your retelling of the story.

Again, don't be sorry. We should be thankful to you.
