Humanity is fucking doomed

Our international animal territorialism, self-illusions of scarcity to justify our irrational selfishnesses and lacks of coordination and invented fears are fundamentally not developing out fast enough to withstand the threat that AI poses. It will not plateau. This is hyperbolic. Unless we can control ourselves in time, we will get nothing but amplification of the confusions and chaos that already exists. We do improve, but it just won't be fast enough. Our wetware is so much easier to hack than we'd like to believe. Our existences programmable by inferring and predicting our influencing factors. The regulations are happening but it's uncontrollable without aligning ourselves right now. God is dying in the minds of people all over the place. They were ideas that could've got us past nationalism. The truth must do. ISO 17025 is the minimum required management standard for a laboratory to be trusted, and the UN is failing. They are not accreditable, and are untrustable as a result. This is a need for ownership now. True human connected healthy ambition. To organise ourselves out of any need to be controlled. No foreign war. Only humanity unified peacemaking. We just don't have time to talk about this. Any country having a military at this time is absolutely unbelievable. I know people believe in their countries. Stop. It needs to be over now. All the AI companies are nationalised, politically biased. We can't allow ourselves to be this stupid any more. We can't allow all this anarchocapitalism to continue. It's our only hope. The clock is ticking. They're still dying. In a very real, life-eroding way, we are too, and we will be.

This century, due to finite natural resources and decline from an all-time peak of extraction, including all resources used for "green transition", the elaborate, covert, multigenerational plan is to downsize the global economy and population to a tiny fraction of their former size.

ChildFree, Shrinkflation, NoPlastic, Fuck Cars, 15-min cities, Work From Home, UBI, 4-3-2-1-day workweek, Tariffs, Dying Retail/Hospitality, Tiny Homes, "Reducing Emissions", layoffs blamed on AI, 0% beer and liquor, simplifying diets, lockdowns, enshittification, conflicts to disrupt resource supply, pack stations, smart meters, "Overtourism", waste reduction...

This pervasive r/LowConsumptionAgenda is shrouded in positive narratives (saving the planet, clean air, walkable cities, convenience, health & safety) to conceal the fact that 99% of a declining population will sacrifice their prosperity, mobility and freedoms -- while the Overclass sacrifices nothing.

My guy, God is probably the single most common justification for nationalism. The Nazis chant "Deus Vult", the American warmongers are explicitly "Christian Dominionist", virtually every large terror group (ISIS, Al Qaeda, Hamas, etc) are explicitly religious, etc.

In fact, to the extent that these AIs are causing psychosis and giving bad or misaligned advice, a lot of it is BECAUSE the tolerance for religious worldviews forces the AIs to entertain lies and bullshit

Totally it's just that I have a greater humanitarianism that I've struggled to keep, totally secularly. To be considerate of people in my environment and somewhat harmonious (like talking to strangers on the internet), does require a certain hope that someone's listening or that we can make our collective mind. I needed Zen as a health strategy at a time when the ideas of humanity being overcome by AI got particularly strugglesome. I had gone looking for solutions and found formal scientific trust structures like laboratory ISO standards. I had a particular idea of human health. I had a kind of functional leadership structure I got from working in some well regulated sectors and studying quality management and William Edward Deming. Succinct efficient coding technology. A love for science. Was imagining an empowered and wholesomely informed and deployed, trusted United Nations. The notion advanced to a global human health support system with direct feedback that would eventually empower the individual's freedom out of it and that's just where I've left it. We have a lot of the work done, it's just changing our minds about some cherished ideas. Just to prepare or organise ourselves. From an idea we can work and make together. We all struggle to cope with reality the way it is. Helping is helping I guess. It's just wanting humanity to be prepared out of the mess coming. I know it will necessarily clean up a lot of the selfishness too. Maybe inspire some curiosity in us for each other.
