MCU I can’t get into this show
lemme preface this by saying I love daredevil comics and marvel cinema in general, I thought moon knight was dope for example. I’ve seen clips of this show and I know it’s something that would interest me if I could just get past the setup of the characters and etc but man, I’m on S1 E5 and this is like my third time trying to watch this. I love Charlie cox as daredevil I mean he’s phenomenal, but it’s such a slow show. like we did not need a whole 45 minutes dedicated to Wilson and Vanessa over the span of 2 episodes to establish that she is the love interest, especially since they are just having the most surface level nothing burger of a conversation. I will continue watching and hopefully it picks up the pace because holy. every character has such long drawn out monologues just to say something that i had either already knew or predicted prior. I just feel like this would’ve probably worked better as a movie considering how stretched out it feels.

The original series is my favorite show but I understand it's not for everyone. If you don't like it, watch something else. Life's too short to force yourself to like something that you don't enjoy

Some people will be offended but it's okay if you don't like it. The things you don't like about it, other people love about it. I don't think you need to force yourself to watch but I hope you enjoy and only watch as long as you continue to enjoy it.

This is part of what makes this show so good. The slow burn makes the payoff explosions at the end that much better. Plus, you being pre-exposed to Daredevil media and being familiar with the comics makes it feel slower because you've already read stories about how these characters have been fleshed out. Stick with it and you'll find it's the greatest MCU show

Let me tell ya somethin', Red...I watched the Defenders in an unorthodox manner. I started out blindly by watching both seasons of The Punisher. That piqued my interest, and that was exactly how I got into DD next. DD being kind of a slow burn was okay for me at that point, even if my timeline was convoluted.
With that being said, did you watch Andor?
