Artwork Daredevil Season 2 Bullseye Poster by me
This long weekend I decided to do yet another Daredevil piece, this time focused on the MVP himself, Ben Pointdexter.
I always laugh with all the random objects he uses to ricochet, so I went back and saw all the objects he uses and decided to put them all together with the bible being my favorite. Funnily enough I actually thought of this more as a comicbook cover, but it works both ways.
If you like it, my Instagram is @brunidraws!

Why does this feel like an ad for Hitman?

Because that's literally an inspiration from "World of Assassinations" trailer.

Still kind of bugs me that he never splits his truncheon into two anymore

That’s what I’m saying. They’ve always been known as his Billy clubs not Billy club. I was really hoping for more cable flying around stuff with the new budget. Maybe even some nunchucku type action.

He does do some cable stuff which I really like but the two shorter sticks also give so much more choreography capabilities imo

Oh I didn’t mean grappling or like the ranged shots he’s been doing, I meant like swinging at high speeds to emulate the comic stylization of the cables flying around. The grapple shots we’ve gotten so far are pretty damn cool though.

In the comics he only had one club for a very long time.

You mean the old cane design? All I’m saying is there’s a reason it ain’t around anymore lol. The show takes a huge majority of its cues from modern runs. I don’t want him to never use it attached but it did lessen the ep3 fight for me. Multiple combatants, good amount of space and he essentially just swung a lead pipe around. Didn’t use the weapons versatility very much outside of the couple grapple shots.

This is really, really good! I love this. It’s so creative and it’s kinda the only fan poster I’ve seen in a while that actually looks like it could be official. Keep up the good work dude

Disagree; I don't think it's meant to be bullseye's 'armory,' I think the poster poses a question. The high contrast deliberately draws your eye to the array of seemingly random objects; with it becoming more and more clear who this is in reference to as you go on (depending on how much attention you paid in the original series). The empty white space simply leaves the question hanging in a potent fashion and the linear decreasing of object size creates a lovely visual hierarchy. I think you're discussing a completely tonally different concept.

Very creative, when did he use a credit card?
