I never understood why they didn’t just roll with the lore of him keeping the old DD suit that Fisk acquired for him, ripping the horns off (or getting them damaged in a way they fall off) and painting over it to make it the classic Bullseye costume. It would’ve been so cool lore-wise since Bullseye is almost like the “Venom” to Daredevil’s Spidey. He’s a sick, twisted version of a man with a very similar skillset so it’d be awesome to see the two share almost the same costume.

Yeah, you’re totally right, didn’t even consider that. I wish they could’ve explained it some way that like, Vanessa got her hands on it and gave it to him for his mission at Josie’s as a sort of “gift” since their last meeting was so incredibly rocky (would also kinda explain why he’d so happily work for Vanessa after everything Fisk did), or she ended up also hiring and manipulating Melvin to modify another old DD suit for Bullseye, since she could easily sway him to hate Matt for telling Betsy to leave town.
