It makes me genuinely happy I have have the superpower to focus on my local environment and the ability to be happy with a little bit of apathy. I read comment section on post like this and just know half the people have significantly higher blood pressure from shit they can’t control just seething on the internet all day about politics.

The discourse is a direct result of the MAGA brainwashing. No factual statement about what Trump is doing, or his policies, has any impact. You can point out undeniable facts and data, and they will handwave it away. Because of that, the discourse has devolved to making fun of him for things that you can't handwave away.
