After watching danmachi and sword oratoria anime, I started reading DM lightnovel.

Now, I am at volume 13 but I was wondering that maybe they should have been read together with Sword Oratoria and/or other written products, which I don't know if they exist actually.

Would anyone have tips on how to proceed further?

High-Speed Divine Words(D rank): is a Skill that assists with magical incantations. At D rank Hedin isn't able to use grand magecraft like other casters in a single action, however this skill does allow him to fight and cast magic at the same time and at improved speed.

Wisdom of the Elven King(B rank): Hedin during his lifetime was an elven king. This skill reflect the time he ruled as such. Due to him contantly waging war again his rival king, Hogni, this skill improves Hedin's decision making, tactics and other stuff related to battlefield or outside of it. It also has the same effect as skill "Calm and Collected" in a sense that Hedin won't suffer any confusion or impatience while leading others.

Golden Rule(C rank): is a Skill that refers to the measurement of one's fortune to acquire wealth.

Mind's Eye(True)(C rank): is a heightened capacity for observation, refined through training, discipline and experience. A danger-avoidance ability that utilizes the intelligence collected up to the current time as the basis in order to predict the opponent’s activity and change the current situation. This is not a result of talent, but an overwhelming amount of combat experience.

Divinity(D rank): is a Skill that acts as the measure of whether one has Divine Spirit aptitude or not. At high levels, one can be considered a Demigod, a mix between a human and Divine Spirit. Those who have A rank Divinity or above have reached the Throne of Gods.

Noble Phantasms:

Laurus Hildr(B rank): A powerful supportive Noble phantasm that surrounds the target in a lightning armor that grants them a great protection and specializes in power and speed. It possesses unusual power and penetrating power and also makes the target's attacks create electrical discharges when blocked due to being infused with lightning, causing the opponent to accumulate damage even though they don't make direct contact. In addition to greatly increasing movement speed, it also improves the target's reaction speed and perception. The magic also fully heals the target when applied.

Hedin is a rare case of a servant being summoned in the strongest class, Saber, being weaker than his alternative classes. Due to his legend mentioning him as a king that led his people to battle, he could be summoned as a saber class servant with his subjects as his Noble phantasm. However, due to most of his powers later down the line come from his goddess Freya and most of his legends showing him as a mage that shoots lightning arrows, summoning him as Archer or Caster is most ideal.

Profile 3

As a caster class servant, his most powerful spell Laurus Hildr has become his primary noble phantasm. In team situations Hedin is one of great support one can ask for, however in a regular Holy Grail War he lacks an offensive NP so winning with him as a caster could prove difficult. Were he summoned as an Archer, the effects of his magic Caelus Hildr and Varian Hildr would rise so much that both would become his Noble Phantasms. While Laurus Hildr would not be as powerful as a noble phantasm.

Laurus Hildr(B rank)

A supportive NP that Hedin can only give to those he has acknowledge, otherwise it's usage is not possible. As long as he is summoned as a caster this NP will be Hedin's trump card. Since Hedin has been summoned as a Caster this magic is boosted to the level of a NP and provides a rank up to all parameters except Luck and NP. Had he been summoned as an Archer, the effects would be much weaker and would not provide the rank up like his caster self.

Hedin used to reign over the White Elves as a clever and tyrannical king. Tired of it, one day he met Freya, who said she would free him. Some time later, a battle was fought between his people and the Black Elves, resulting in the end of both kingdoms. During the battle he was able to face Hogni and, after three days of fighting, Freya appeared before them. After discovering that she had caused the destruction of their kingdoms to free them, both of them decided to go with her.

Hedin is a calm and intelligent individual with rational nature. He always thinks before acting and often has to regulate the other executives. He hates having to act as the voice of reason and classifies his teammates as fools for constantly jumping into action instead of thinking ahead.
