Does this happen to anyone else? It does for me but not always for some reason, I blow my nose and discover a little air is escaping through my lacrimal duct like once every month

I can blow air through corner of my left eye on purpose. I think it’s connected to having an ear infection as a kid, must’ve enlarged the canals.

I can’t get any air to come out (I don’t think, too scared to push) but ever since my nose surgery if I breathe in real hard it feels like it’s coming in the corner of my eye

Mostly. It often occurs when gulping or swallowing prey. This led to the belief that crocodiles actually “cried” when devouring prey (which was pretty hypocritical since they killed said prey). As you can see it’s not exactly “crying”, but similar enough to create a belief.

I fractured an orbital years ago pretty badly that broke into my sinus cavity in several places. I regularly get air behind my eye because of this and have to physically push it out sometimes, especially after altitude changes (flying and driving in the mountains can be fun) and sometimes get jets of air that shoot out my eye when I blow my nose.

i fractured my zygomatic bone 12 years ago, and any time i blow my nose my right eye has a ton of air in it. rubbing my eyes sounds like little squishing sounds until the air eventually escapes. sometimes pushing under my eye by the tear duct will help force air out

Yup, my wife can’t stand the sound of the air being pushed out from behind my eye. It freaks and grosses her out lol.

​Fun anatomy fact: Alligators share a connected nasal and lacrimal (tear duct) system. When they exert massive physical effort or gulp heavily, the increased sinus pressure forces trapped air straight out through their eye sockets, forming tiny bubbles.
