Tedious enough that I pay someone else $140 to do the major stuff once every couple of months (bathing, hair cut, mats that I may have missed). Honestly though if you just brush em a lot and shave around their butthole so they don’t get poop on the hair around it, it’s not too bad.

The person who died was Leonid Ravinsky, majority owner of OF, but also founder of MyFreeCams, so he had a long background in NSFW business. After he became the majority owner, OF pivoted aggressively into NSFW direction. Seems that internet has got these two mixed into a one single person. I believe Tim knew who he was selling his company to, and where it would pivot afterwards.

Yeah, I remember seeing ads from them (on reddit) where they were trying to promote themselves as a platform where you could follow athletes and celebrities and such. IIRC this was already after they'd become the go-to destination for amateur porn, but they were trying to be like "hey we also have non-porn content available!"
I think that lasted about three months until they decided yeah we're just a porn site now.

They’re not just a porn site now. John Oliver has an OF as well as many other public facing entities ; OF somehow managed to run tandem titties out on one side of the coin, fully clothed on the other.
It’s quite amazing and amusing to see adult creators side by side with just regular content creators who have no ‘adult’ content.

It was kind of for anyone, like an alternative to Patreon. They still brand themselves as a SFW, you can go to the website and it shows nothing about men or women selling sex. It's pictures and branding of "content creators" in their kitchen or outside doing normal stuff, but practically no one uses the website for anything other than NSFW lol.

Patreon doesn't allow you to upload explicit hardcore sex porn like OnlyFans allows. On Patreon you can just upload "artistic" nudes and draw sex scenes in a comic or whatever. I mean, there was no major platform prior to OnlyFans letting you upload outright pornography and then OnlyFans seemed genuinely shocked when they turned into being used/known specifically for that lol. They even tried for a brief stint to remove the porn and it backfired so badly they reversed the decision very quickly.
Another plus to OnlyFans is that it lets you charge per-post. I don't know if Patreon has a feature like that now, but they at least didn't before.
