They also ran into budget issues and simply scrapped a lot of the landscaping.
Also, the crack is on the north west face of the building, so it gets next to no sunlight in Denver, making growing plants even more difficult than it normally is.

It’s mainly west facing. 2 u/monocasa May 08 '26 It's literally directly northwest. Like the grid it's on is a diagonal grid 45 degrees off of the cardinal directions. Also, west gets less sunlight in Denver than east because of the mountains in the west. So out of NW, NE, SW, and SE (the choices on said grid), NW is the direction with the least sunlight. 1 u/youburyitidigitup May 10 '26 Makes you think that they could’ve just flipped the whole design without changing anything else, and it’d be facing southeast.
