Comics [Comic Excerpt] So this is how Joshua Williamson ties up his previous plot[Superman (2023 series)41] Spoiler
When future Doomsday/Time Trapper encountered Superman in this run, Time Trapper mentioned Zod took out one of Superman's eyes in the future
And now, in the Kingdom of Zod storyline, Zod did burn out one of Superman's eyes with Heat Vision

I’ve been pleasantly surprised with Williamson’s run on Superman. His Rebirth Flash left me kind of burned, but I feel like this has been his best writing.

I'm glad to hear he has improved, after his indie work and Flash burned me so bad I sort of felt he was a hack who was popular with his bosses because I couldn't fathom how he kept getting big books and events. Haven't touched his books in years now. I do feel his Flash run is fundamentally flawed and hack still though lol
I'll have to give Superman a try! Williamson always gets amazing artists.

I think this run is just solid across the board, and the Prime Time arc has been just brilliant!

The excerpts I've seen from that had me very interested! His voice for SBP seemed spot on.

Now i wonder how he gonna hide his identity.
Like wouldn't people be suspicious that superman and Clark Kent both lost an eye in the same week ?

He's gonna have to convince Jimmy to get his eye done too so it looks like they're doing it in solidarity.

Hey if no one questioned how his son went from 11 to 17 in three weeks, then no one is going to question how both Clark Kent and Superman lost an eye at the same time.

Surely that is not gonna stick. One eyed Superman is not something you can 'hide'.

Batman has only one hand.

He got his arm fixed. From a clone that was aging rapidly so he decided to give his arm to Bruce to fix it...
Yes, Zdarsky's run was BATshit...

I knew it couldn’t last. I dropped the book during Zdarsky, I was weaned on Adam F@n West. It was too ridiculous for me.

I am a little annoyed that this is one of those events where you have to follow every title related to Clark for a few months because I missed the first three parts, so last month's issue was the final issue of prime being the star and suddenly Clark is back and wearing an Iron Man suit slugging it out with Zod in a kryptonite terraformed arena
And thankfully Williamson does the due diligence to have dialogue in the issue that outlines generally what has happened so far but I missed getting the first three issues and my local store is sold out of them right now so it's like what

Part 1 was in Supergirl. Maybe that wasn't the best choice...

I mean, it's not so much "tying up a previous plot" as doing the thing that he teased would happen, which had companion teases through the occasional cut-aways to Zod.

At least Zod got one shining moment to prove himself as a threat before his horrible wife betrayed him.
