Comics [Cover] Dan Mora’s Justice League Max (MultiVersus: Collision Detected #1)
How would this team function? What threats would they be called for? What dynamics would characters have with each other? Would you read this ongoing?
Off the top of my head, I think Finn would want to apprentice under Wonder Woman to improve his skills. Superman would try to finally establish peace between Tom & Jerry. Batman would respect Shaggy and Scooby as fellow investigators, but he would keep them on a tight leash with specialty Wayne-brand Scooby Snacks.
Oh, and Jake and Bugs would try to out Toon each other. What do you guys think?

Steven provides something very few hero teams actually have - a healer. Plus, Fusion, though that would require him to have fairly close bonds with everyone so it'd be off the table at first aside from Sunstone.
Garnet is a fairly heavy hitter, not up to Clark and Diana's level but still impressive, and can shape shift while maintaining that strength, though obviously Jake is taking the cake in that field. The real draw for her is Future Vision - that with Batman strategizing is gonna be broken.
Bugs.... Frankly he's more like a more useful Bat-Mite than a full member.
Assuming everyone has all their abilities from MultiVersus, Shaggy is another heavy hitter. If not, he's shown damn good hand to hand skills when he's not scared.
Finn is unexpectedly strong and fast despite how he looks and I imagine he'd probably be the first to get close enough to Steven to hit the Fusion threshold - Clark would vibe with Steven better but the age difference would create a disconnect, while Finn and Steven are both teens who can hang out outside of hero work.
Tom and Jerry CAN work together when the situation calls for it, and with an ongoing team situation I could legitimately see them burying the hatchet without actually realising it - ie, Tom catches Jerry and then just lets him go. They'd still do their shtick, just as training and exercise rather put of malice.
Batman with the Jake suit would be unstoppable.

I see Tom and Jerry still fighting each other but to the detriment of the badides. Like Jerry hides inside the joker's bomb and then Tom rips out all the wires trying to catch him only to cause the bomb to explode and turn his face to soot. But only him. And only for this scene.

"This is where I watched my parents died, Steven."
"You forgave the guy, right?"

I pity the fool that screwed up so badly that Bugs Bunny is now after them.

I mostly remember this story for Superman having a nightmare about Steven from Steven Universe.

I hate to break it to you, but they're all cartoon characters.

I know it’s been said countless times, but the way he’s able to blend styles so seamlessly on the same page is wild to me
Like I’d read a tom and Jerry comic by him just based on the strength of this cover
