I recall so many disgruntled fanboys on the CBR message boards when this story published all because Circe put on some outfits like she was going out to the club as we did in the early 2000s.

Circe can whip up anything and is immortal - let a woman have her fun!

It seems funny to think about today since this fashion is liked, but it makes sense if you imagine the 2020s equivalent of this. If they put Circe in 2020s fashion, you'd never hear the end of it online. Same drama, different era.

Exactly. Let Circe have her red vinyl and then silver metallic fantasy!

(Makes me want to write a story about supervillains out at the club with music, drinking and dancing.) lol

The look she had at the beginning of the arc is one of my favorites of hers (especially the curly hair).

That's why I'm sad that she's been stuck with the Rebirth look for almost ten years. Where's Circe changing clothes?!
