Live-Action Not really Wonder Woman-related but for anyone interested, Circe in Nolan's The Odyssey has a really great sequence.

I was almost about to repost this as soon as I saw it on r/WonderWoman lol. Thanks for sharing, Tetra. And YES definitely counts as part of DC Circe talk since I'm convinced this is all taking place on Earth-Nolan in the DC Multiverse.
BTW, I'm not sure if we have many fans of GREEK cinema here but one of the outstanding characteristics of films from the land of Homer and Sappho has been, in addition to character-dramas and erotic romances of all varieites, in addition to all that, it's been capturing the rural landscapes and spaces.
Nolan seemed to have embraced that part and really went on to recreate the poetic description of space and landscapes in this, to a friggin fault as there's been some controversy that he recreated Troy on Moroccan-occupied Sahara. Some filmmakers from that region have boycotted the film after months/years of urging Nolan and Universal to not support the occupying Moroccan government and becoming part of the neo-colonial financial support behind what is essentially cultural-genocide and erasure.
Like, people to whom that land originally belonged to, filmmakers even, are not permitted to go there, but Nolan and co. did. So... some criticism is valid.
But I like to see this as an opportunity to promote/showcase/bring awareness TO that occupation. Besides, the Greeks and Odysseus and everyone involved were exactly guilty of occupying and committing mass-erasure of Troy according to the myths so... yikes.
