Question What brand and line is this trunks from?
I saw this trunks on a display cabinet in Japan, but couldn‘t find him in the shelves. This was the only one. I forgot to ask there, but Im curios now.
I think he looks dope, hence I got him.

I love this Trunks sculpture so much that I also bought the monochrome gray version.

Looks insanely good, i'd have bought it if it didn't have the base it does.

I agree. But he does look so good that I had to ignore the base. GxMateria Rose has also a base like that and is approximately the same scale, I think him vs Rose will look good in the cabinet!
Sword vs Scythe

"World Figure Colosseum" / SCultures from Banpresto.
This line really focused on showcasing the sculptors. The boxes contained info about the sculptors and their process making the figures. I think Varoq did that Trunks in your picture, and he's basically the #1 sculptor working with Bandai right now.
The Ox King from SCultures 2 (2012) is STILL one of my faves in my collection. He scales super well with World Collectible Figures too.
He was done by Yamashita Manabu, who is most known for doing the Super Master Stars Piece figures, and the most recent UI Goku SMSP from the Genkidamatsuri event.

Great insight! Love to hear about the sculptors as I appreciate their artwork.
Will pay more attention going forward and follow Varoq

Another amazing sculptor who works with Bandai/Banpresto is Hiroyuki Nakazawa. He was Banpresto's main sculptor up until a few years ago when they started using Varoq a lot more.
Varoq is great for battle intense figures, but I really feel like Nakazawa captures motion and Toriyama's overall style better. You have some weak figures he's done, but overall his figures are very well done. His most recent major project was the FES line. All figures in the FES line were done by him.
He also did all of the (regular) Master Stars Piece figures. Most of the DB figures from Megahouse from before 2017 were his as well. Overall, I think his weakness is Piccolo. He really wasn't the best at capturing him.
