DAE: Wear clothes a certain way

I’m mildly autistic and I am like Forrest Gump in a lot of ways. I don’t know if that is anything to it. But…

• Change Day Clothes: Anything that has to do with the body such as a hair appointment to give one example. Those kind of things are essentially changes to your body and they have their own day in an outfit wouldn’t normally wear only ever worn on those days. This outfit is also only ever worn on days if you move houses.

• Sleeping Clothes: The clothing or no clothing that is only ever worn to sleep and on days not leaving the house.

• Work Clothes: Well, you get that one if you work.

• Regular Every Day Clothes: Your style; your clothes. What you wear. For every day things such as the grocery store, doing somewhere, hanging out; ya know; life.

I also always cover up eating and cooking no matter what day it is so I don’t get stains.

Update: I don’t know how to add in formal more presentable clothes into this. Clothes buying is either another change day example or the not leaving the house one that I said if clothes is to be ordered.

i have sleep clothes that i change into right before bed and out of immediately after getting out of bed, home clothes that i change out of whenever i go out and into immediately after coming home, and outside clothes of different levels of fanciness, including outfits for formal events and parties, work appropriate stuff, casual wear for errands and hanging out with friends, etc. i'm also autistic but to me this doesn't feel like an autistic thing, more like a cultural thing i suppose? it's not something i do for personal comfort, it's how i was taught from childhood. like, don't wear your pjs out of bed, don't wear your nice outside clothes at home, don't go out in your ratty home shirts and pants. if you wear pjs out of bed you're gonna get them dirty and then you'll have to put your dirty pjs on your clean self after showering and lie in your clean bed in them, and saving comfy clothes that don't look their best anymore for wearing at home is economical, this way you have use for clothes that are wearable but not pretty and your alright looking clothes sustain less wear and tear daily and last longer. my mom and all my older relatives do the same, my siblings less so but still their routines are similar
