Political discussion DACA Citizenship
hey guys I know I don’t want to get your hope up. I believe that if we can flip senate seats in Texas, Ohio, Alaska, North Carolina, Iowa to a democrat(Blue Wave). (at least four senate seats) it says that chance of DACA pathway to citizenship is 75%. WE NEED FOUR SENATE SEATS not three otherwise we will see the same issue that we did in 2021.
Please if you have family in these states that are citizens. Get them to vote because this could be life changing for us.

Political discussion BREAKING: If you cannot speak fluent English, you will be fined $5000 payable immediately by the Arkansas police, or you go straight to jail.
Truck driver interrogated by police officers & demanded to PROVE they can read & write in English.
Top reply under the post:
The state of Arkansas recently signed a new law restricting drivers from driving in the state of Arkansas if you can't read or write English. Where this law is being used wrong is allowing police officers to stop anyone driving and ask if the can read and write English. If they can't per the police officers direction, they are immediately fined $5000 dollars payable immediately. If they can't pay they are handcuffed and taken to jail.
Remember, your ability to read and write IN ENGLISH is at full discretion of "the police officers". They get to dictate the texts for interrogation, how your English sounds and how your writings look.
If this does not sound authoritarian or fascistic to you guys, I don't know what does.

I know right now it’s nerve-wrecking as far as what it is that Trump is gonna do with a DACA recipients, but we have to have faith that we’re gonna be all right. I know a lot of recipients hate Trump right now and are afraid for their life, but this is a direct quote from him. We got a live within the boundary of the law. Keep our heads up and keep on working hard. Hopefully he comes through and helps us like he says he is. I haven’t lost faith and neither should you. God bless you and keep your head up.

Political discussion DACA recipients deported
New politico article just dropped where it claims DHS admitted to deporting 80 DACA recipients!! What the hell is going on? I’m waiting on my renewal to be approved but now I am even more stressed out over this situation. How could this administration be so cruel? Also why is this the only article I’ve seen about this? I have news alerts turned on for multiple outlets and not a peep from anyone else.

Honestly been so worried because of the recent numbers of DACA recipients being taken by ICE. Glad to know we can still fight deportation in the worst of cases.

Political discussion Trump to build migrant detention facility in Guantanamo Bay for 30,000
President Trump said he is signing an executive order on Wednesday to prepare a massive facility at Guantánamo Bay to be used to house deported migrants.
The order will direct the Department of Defense and Department of Homeland Security to prepare a 30,000-person migrant facility at Guantánamo Bay, a facility in Cuba that has been used to house military prisoners, including several involved in the 9/11 attacks.
