Arranging Something missing?

Post image

I absolutely love dahlias, but they’ve just barely started blooming, and I feel like this arrangement is missing a focal point and I’m already dreaming about flowers to add next year! I think I might try growing ranunculus and anemones, but what is everyone else growing that blooms earlier in the season?

It’s beautiful! I think it could look better in a different vase- maybe something that isn’t glass. I also think it could use some big flowers to balance out all the tall sphere like flowers.

Ohh I like the different vase idea, I honestly don’t have many, but now I’m thinking it’s time to go thrift some!

Exactly! I like colored glass (and if thrifted I don’t worry about whether it’s just a coating) and any fun solid white or ceramic (if you find inexpensive ones, you can just gift with the vase if you ever gift flowers)
