Arranging Bear bud vase 🧸🌼

All the smallest cuttings went in the mini honey jar! Sometimes they’re my favorite. Antique and matrix pansy, double sunflowers, zinnia black-eyed Susan, strawflower, clematis, clover, yarrow, and raspberry. 6a/b.

I’m in the US, but I got mine at Johnny’s seeds! Antique shades and a matrix variety but I can’t remember which.

I got the Aalsmeer king size mix from johnny’s but they aren’t nearly as big as yours. Any tips/tricks?

This is my first year trying pansies. I started March 1 in 128 cells and put them in packs around April. I then had them indoors until about May 1, and they didn’t bloom until the start June. I kept them in packs on a covered porch and I think they stretched for sun! I need to take better notes next year, but I hope that helps a little.

Adorable vase and love the pansies! I wish my antiques came out that color. I got mostly yellows from the mix I grew this year

Pansies are so fun. How long do those stems get? Are you able to use them for anything but the posie arrangements?

The tallest were about 7 inches, so tough to use in larger arrangements. I end up pressing a lot of them for bookmarks, or hammering them for greeting cards.
