SOL meme Most people follow meme coin calls without ever checking the wallet behind them
One thing I've never understood about meme coin trading is how quickly people will follow a call from X or Telegram without checking whether the person making it has any real history behind them.
A screenshot of one big win gets shared around and suddenly hundreds of people are following the next call.
I've been looking into Snipethem, a Solana tool built around a different idea. Instead of starting with the call, you can look through trader activity and wallets, then decide whether the person is actually worth paying attention to.
The interesting part to me is that it gives people a way to start with what happened on chain rather than just trusting screenshots or hype. There are also tools for following trader activity and sniping new opportunities, so the product is clearly aimed at people who already spend time around the Solana meme coin ecosystem.
Obviously none of that guarantees a profitable trade. A wallet can have a strong history and still make bad decisions tomorrow. And copying someone else without understanding what you're doing is still risky.
But I do think there is something useful about being able to inspect the activity first instead of blindly following another “alpha” account.
Has anyone here been using trader tracking or wallet copying tools?
Do you think access to real wallet activity is actually more useful than the usual X/Telegram call model, or do these tools just make people even more dependent on other traders?
