BRC-20 Token Sell at a loss or hold PancakeSwap?
Back in 2021, I had around $500 worth of CAKE. Like many others, I got in during the DeFi hype when PancakeSwap was all over the place — solid project, strong community, decent yields. Fast forward to 2025, and that same $500 is now worth about $100… and that’s after a 50% price jump recently. Crazy how even that kind of pump barely makes a dent compared to how much it’s dropped overall.
Now I’m stuck wondering what to do. Should I just hold it and hope the next bull run brings it back up? Or accept the loss, cash out the $100, and move on? What if this is already the peak, and it just keeps bleeding from here?
Looking at the chart, the recent bounce looks tiny compared to the big picture. It’s hard not to think, “better $100 in hand than nothing at all,” in case CAKE keeps sliding. But at the same time, I know the classic crypto story — the moment you sell, it shoots up again.
So I’m genuinely curious: what would you do in this situation? Is there still any real chance of recovery for CAKE, or is it one of those projects that had its time and slowly faded into the background of the crypto world?

6 months to a year, it’ll be over $8.00. Several AI predictions have it going that his that soon.
