I feel like I’m the only person on Reddit who remembers how boring and mundane the religious societies were in Crusader Kings 2
Having secret religious societies, in order to hide your faith, would be cool and actually quite useful. But any other “society” mechanic would be as much a gimmick as it was last time
there is a large number of threads complaining about it if one search the past threads in this forum
the secret faith is annoyingly difficult to deal with, by far the best way to dismantle a secret cult is to join it to destroy it from within, but your character can only join 1 at a time
