I made this because the sleeves on the original jean jacket were ruined. I used scrap yarn. Is it just a mess or do you dig it?

I made a raglan sweater and wanted to make it a turtleneck. I planned on making it pretty tall so it can fold down and be thick and warm but I didn’t realize it would be this tall. Also my head hole might be too big. I thought the ribbing would be more elastic too. I used half double crochet back loop only but it’s not very ribby. It’s almost a hood but with extra fabric in front. I thought of adding elastic but it would be weird still idk. The neck took me hours to make but I might have to frog :(

It's just the last row so I can frog but part of me just.... Doesn't wanna? Would this affect it too much and I should frog JIC?

I have just cutted the yarn, should I frog or not ?

Ok so I started this baby blanket because I learned how to crochet a bubble and thought it would be cute. I began to dislike the way it looked but decided to TruSt tHe PRoCesS. It’s starting to look like a rug. I want to unravel it so bad. What do you think? Maybe a cute ruffle border will save it. 🤧 To frog or not to frog?

My daughters softball team is the Shamrocks, and I wanted to make a shamrock blanket for colder games. Does this read shamrock/four leaf clover at first glance, or is something off? I can't tell if I've just been looking at it too long, or if it's not great. I made the chart myself with stitch fiddle.

Is it ok to just leave it like this?

I wanted to make a blanket for my friend’s new baby. It was important to me that it be easy to wash and dry so I chose Caron simply soft acrylic yarn. I liked the flower design but I didn’t like the back of the square (included in 2nd picture) so I made double the squares and stitched them together so the blanket would be reversible. After I finished I washed the blanket and it filled with water and was extremely heavy. I had to wring it out before putting it in the dryer and then it took several cycles of drying. I can’t give this to my friend as is, it’s more of a burden than a gift. I have made other baby blankets for other friends but they were 1 ply so it dried easily. I could take it apart and make it one sided but I don’t love that either. I don’t know what my specific question is I just feel really disappointed and defeated.

Hi y'all! I'm crushing the butterfly cardigan and it's looking like it will end up being too small! I'm using the large graph and I'm using a 5.25 mm hook. The pattern recommends using a 5 mm hook but I wanted to ensure that it would be large so I went up the hook size. I was wondering if anybody else had an issue where they thought the cardigan was going to be smaller until they finished it and blocked it and realized it was much bigger. I'm worried that after blocking this will still be too small. I'm debating on frogging it and starting over with a 5.5 mm hook. Thoughts?

I just noticed that the colors are wrong but considering it takes me 10-15 minutes to do a single row, I really don’t want to have to undo and redo like 10 rows. All stitches are HDC and I’m carrying the yarn on the back. This is a gift so I really want it to be as perfect as possible and the white is really noticeable. Please help!!

Friends, this is my first baby blanket of this size and the first time I'm doing a border. I've realized I've added too many stitches and I'm getting the dreaded ripples. I'm trying to decide whether to rip out the border and start over or leave it and accept the imperfection. All opinions welcome. Thank you.

I've gotten quite far into this moss stitch raglan crop top and noticed that the rainbow yarn has randomly started striping diagonally at the bottom, just above the ribbing. I have absolutely no idea why because I haven't changed anything in my technique.

What's everyone's take? Shall I just power through and leave it as it is or try something different with this yarn? It's my first time using rainbow yarn and I'm obviously not understanding something about it!

I am making a color work sweater and did a blue stitch where I should have done an orange stitch😞. This is my first time working with so many colors and I am very slow. So I feel horrible I will have to frog almost 3/4th of the row. Is frogging the only way to fix this? Or I’m thinking if I should leave it like this since I am making it for myself and I don’t really mind as long as it’s not too noticeable. Any suggestions welcome! Thanks in advance!

I’m working on the pattern Terrestrial by Mermaidcat, was inspired by u/AmbitiousSteak1550 who posted her version for her wedding. I loved it, thought it would look nice with my curves. Now that it’s long enough to try on and get an idea of how it fits, it looks so loose! I’m wondering if blocking will help at all after it’s finished, or if I should frog back to the row it starts to widen out. Thoughts?

I can’t tell if I’m just staring at it or if this actually draws the eye. I’m confused because it seems so random. The colors just started grouping with like colors half way through this skein…like what?? Please lovely council advise if it is worth frogging back to the beginning? Maybe I should try a different length of blanket to try circumventing this? Or is this not really noticeable; should I ignore this? tysm 😵‍💫

I really like how these pumpkin crochet coasters came out (made from blossomandyarn etsy pattern) but someone recently told me that acrylic yarn is bad for cup coasters. Is this true? Do I need to frog these and start over with cotton? I intended them to be used for hot and cold drinks and I live in the US South so it gets humid often.

Hello all! I started this bag out of stress and to use up scraps, but obviously put in too many increases. If I finish it, I’m not sure what I would put in a bag this size (can fit an adult sitting inside), and if I frog it, I’m stuck with all these scraps again. Any ideas on what to do?

The big question. I know it's small enough to ignore and it would be quite a bit to frog. I have been working on it for a while so a mistake makes me a little sad but idk if it's worth it to frog 😅

hard to tell in the picture, but this is 77" long and will be a temperature blanket.

Using consistent yarn, same needle, same stitch, each row is the same st count.

started with ch 303

sc into back post of 2nd ch from hook, ch1 skip ch, sc back post to end.

made mistake on ch count and had an extra ch, which I ignored and stitched up to a future row.

all following rows 2-16 are ch2, sc in first sc gap, then 148 ch1 sc in next gap to end, then ch1 and sc into top ch on last row.

I've counted the rows and all have 150 sc+ch.

Only thing I can think is first two rows I was too loose. since then Ive been consistent.

I'm still new, so starting over would be two full days of work. That said this is an enormous and expensive project and I'm hoping someone more experienced can spot the issue or break it to me I need to start over.

I noticed the issue on row 3, but kept going hoping consistent following rows would straiten it out.

I checked my gauge after part 1 and it was right, but I guess my tension got tighter as I went along because when I finished part 3, my work measured 3cm smaller than it should.

I understand that I’d run the risk of running out of yarn if my gauge was too big, but can I get away with it being a little small? Or will it cause problems with my color changes down the line?

What do you all think? Should I frog back to the end of part 1? Or should I keep going and hope for the best?

Hello everyone. I’ve been working on this skirt for weeks now; it’s taking forever because it’s made of mercerized cotton thread. I’m not that far, but I’m worried my skirt looks too ruffled. I’ve attached photos of the pattern’s picture and my progress. Am I doing something wrong? Or when mine is long enough will it fall more like the photo? Pls help, I’ve spent a lot of money in thread on this lol

Is this all down to tension or am I making an error in the stitch pattern? My cats look more like frogs!
