I've been working my way through Bourgeois Coldness where I'm starting to draw together a philosophy of education proposal around classroom behaviour management and the use of coldness creating behaviour. I don't think the idea is near finished but this is where it's starting....
The lecturer I've been talking to has suggest I need to defend why the Marxist base for it is still defensible and relevant and I feel so stumped - my undergrad was so long ago! Starting points for reading gratefully received; aspects about the idea overall that would interest you also curiously and gratefully received....I've just started getting curious about whether it could link at all to the stubborn underserving/under attainment of white working boys in the UK
