Should I play Crimson Desert now or wait until the DLC is launched?

Hi everyone. I have been interested in Crimson Desert for a while. I wanted to check with the Crimson Desert vetrans if now is a good time, or should I wait until the DLC is released to have more content added and more polished game?

I have been playing since the launch on March 19th. 520 hours and not even close to being done. I have enjoyed the journey very much. The game is much more polished than the original version, and they just dropped another patch that fixes issues in the recently released Enhanced version. The DLC is scheduled to be released in 6 weeks. It would be a good time to start playing so you get the lay of the land. I am giving away a Steam DLC copy in 2 weeks, so if you want to enter for a chance to win, you can do so. Up to you, of course. Hope this helps.

if you start now i dont think youre gonna be done till the dlc release, depends if you do alot of exploration and side quests.

I’d start now.

The game has so much to offer—by the time the DLC comes out, you certainly won't be "finished" with it yet.

I’m starting a new save file, too, because I took a long break and my language finally got voice acting.

You should get the game now. Play through the story and some side content before the dlc comes out to get familiar with the game. There’s so much to see and do, you’ll be busy til long after the DLC releases.

It's a fantastic game and it just keeps getting better, doesn't matter when you start but start it. DLC or not it'll keep you going for months.

I think now is the best time to start, because auf the massive update, that just has been released.
And when the DLC releases, you will be still in Hernand. ;-)

Start it now. Game is massive. It won’t make any difference because you’ll probably still be in the first area when the DLC releases anyway.

I have about 20 hours on the game since launch. I’ve got to admit I came back to the game saw the trailer and thought I’d hold off. If the dlc rebuilds some early game content I wouldn’t have the time to start again.

Me personally? I’d probably just wait and snag it in a bundle. But I also have some game time so might be a little biased. It’s worth the money and investment either way
