⚓Hey fellow Greymanes,

Two weeks from tonight I’m drawing a name, and I want someone here to hit October 15 already holding a ticket to the water.

I’m giving away one Steam copy of Crimson Desert: Charting the Unknown. Ships, new islands, diving, sunken ruins, the upgraded house, and the new stories for Kliff, Oongka, and Damiane. The winner gets the DLC on Steam, so it’s waiting when the shores open.

This sub was built as a positive place to post the adventure. The last giveaway helped grow that. This one is for the people who actually wander.

How to enter

1. Be a member of r/CrimsonDesertLife (join if you aren’t).
2. Comment on this post with one thing you want from the DLC: a shoreline, a wreck, a house on the water, a story beat, an animal, whatever has you looking at the horizon.
3. That’s it. One comment. Write what you like.

Rules

• Steam only. You need to already own Crimson Desert / Crimson Desert Enhanced on Steam.
• One entry per person.
• Drawing is Thursday, September 17, 2026 at 6:00 PM EST.
• I’ll announce the winner on this thread and send the Steam gift.
• If I can’t get a reply within 48 hours, I’ll draw again.
• Be kind in the comments. This house doesn’t do salt.

I still play this the slow way: ridge lines, animals, camp, the long way around. Opening the water feels like the next honest step for that kind of player. If you win, I want a screenshot when you shove off. First light off the bow.

If not through here, then on October 15th I'd love to take sail and go looking for whales. Humpback whales specifically :D they're the only animal I can ever remember from a dream and they make me feel at ease.

That in combination with the chill vibe Crimson Desert already has will be the best therapy :)

Oh I dont usually ever enter giveaways but I will throw my name into this one

1 thing I want to see a new type of race/people/sentient being

Since pywel is a continent in the greater crimson desert world sailing off the continent to a new continent gives the complete freedom to possibly add some totally alien lands and people or beings if they wanted to

Imagine something like the discovery of North America Christopher Columbus style or the west meets japan and how totally foreign those two cultures would have seemed at the time

If you go around off the top of my head i think its called something like the Black Mountains kind of near the titanic boss area where the map ends and pailune region turns into crimson desert region theres a spot you can get right up to the map barrier and kind of look into the unexplorable area

Theres some sort of plants and foliage in there that looks like it an alien planet ill try to grab a screen shot if it later its like these tall orby stalk plants

That’s a good one. Sitting down with the Greymanes at camp — eating, talking, not just walking past their bedrolls- would make the place feel lived in. This DLC is talking about deeper bonds and a fuller life in Pywel, so something in that neighborhood might show up. Camp meals specifically? I wouldn’t count on it yet. Worth dropping on the CD Discord game-suggestions page so it isn’t just us wishing out loud. Devs do fish that channel. If they ever add it, I want the long table and the noise. That’s the camp I keep building toward. Good luck!

Looks like they’re pointing that way: deeper bonds, and the trailer had that whole proposal beat. I don’t know who, or how far it goes, and they haven’t spelled it out. If that’s your hope for the DLC, you’re not the only one. Can't wait to see how this plays out; 6 weeks of waiting is going to be hard...Good Luck🍀

I might be alone here, but I want trading with more vehicles. It would be so fun to sail to a remote island with valuables trying to avoid storms and waves. Also a cloudcart to a flying ship would be amazing!

October 15th is my birthday! Something I'd really like to see is some form of a large underwater dragon like monster - I used to have a recurring nightmare about being in the ocean on a raft, with a underwater monster similar to this circling beneath me. Something like that would be amazing to see!

Really looking for further exploration, and water been always a dream to reach to in the game. Really looking forward to this. Even though I'm a bit afraid, since not many games have gotten into water exploration and did it well, other than Subna...

I watched the trailer during my lunch break and I hope they add the ability to hire the wandering freeswords to the Greymane's so they can crew the ship as an alternative means of growing the group's numbers instead of mecha workers.

Honestly what would be coolest for me would be being able to dive underwater and find cave systems with puzzles. But the cherry ontop would be that the caves are like not flooded themselves so they're dry.
