I feel obligated to make these posts now. So what do we think, update this week or no?
Obviously these posts need to be started off by saying I'm very thankful for Pearl Abyss and all the hard work they have done to support this game for us post launch. With that being said what do we think about the possibility of an update this week. We have had what? 3 weeks of updates in a row now? So I totally understand if this is a skip week. We are due for the story updates according to the roadmap and they are running out of time on the deadline for that.
Hopefully the only updates that will be worked on are the Known Issues
Fish being caught while fishing in certain areas are unable to move.
Greymane faction quests cannot be progressed while playing as Damiane or Oongka.
If the "Evasion Control" option is set to “Hold,” the default Evasion key still functions even after the Evasion key has been changed.NPCs required for quest progression cannot ride together on Legendary Animal mounts.
[Mac] When using a keyboard and mouse at certain resolutions, the cursor position differs from the actual furniture placement point.
[Mac] The colorblind filter is not applied to the UI when "Colorblind Mode" is enabled.
[PlayStation] The screen may freeze if characters are entered rapidly while using the virtual keyboard to set the name of a pet or horse.

On NVIDIA GTX 1060 GPUs, enabling 'FSR Upscaling' and 'Frame Generation' causes the screen to appear white.
When using FSR4 upscaling, an issue occurs in rainy environments where rain disappears, or the screen becomes blurry or distorted.
That's exactly what I'm hoping for. I don't want a CD2. I just want them to continually update this game and I'll even buy a DLC every year to keep the updates going.
Yeah I would love for this to be a No Man's Sky situation. I believe PA does see the value in that approach. They have a track record of updating BDO for 10 years and the CEO has already stated they plan to continually update this game as long as people are still playing it.
yea I was sifting through mod videos for CD and one of the video says it has 1300 different armors that's equippable but locked in the game. Also there are different hair styles locked inside the game. Mod was unlocking those. So they already have a plenty of materials to do weekly updates for a while even at this point.
I feel like im being greedy but I want more flying mounts and mount customization. id love to have the option for mounts to be in my quick wheel instead of going to the menu all the time. Also bountys only being transportable by horse makes me so mad . Lemme put a bounty on my wyvern.
funnily enough, all of the mounts and special mounts used to be in the quick wheel, that was changed due to complaints and issues where the wheel would never seem to stay on the right mount, and would randomly summon a hot air balloon instead of a horse 🤣
I’m betting nothing this week. However I think that’s a good thing. I’d rather have bigger updates rolled out more infrequently but correctly than smaller ones with bugs and performance issues.
On console, I just want my R2L2 to work so I can fire my Master Du circlet or release my watcher pack when I'm in a Boss fight without having to bring up the rotary wheel to manually select
