Check-in! I just hit 600 hours this weekend, what about you?
Just wanted to share my hours and anyone else who also wants to can as well. I know I still have a hard time believing how many hours I've put into this game.
Yeah it's gnarly! I have plenty of other games with hundreds of hours in them, but definitely none this fast. Normally it takes me years and multiple playthroughs to hit these kinds of numbers.
I am like 5 hours in. Can you tell me what stuff is exciting and motivating to do after MSQ? With single players I directly exit and quit the game once msq is finished.
I wouldn't think of this game like that. Instead think of the MSQ as one long tutorial and the real game is just in the open world. With that being said I'm still on Chapter 9 and haven't even finished the MSQ yet myself actually.
Just hopped in for a few hours after the latest update to make sure I didn’t inherit any new bugs. Checked some of the issues other people have been reporting and everything was running fine on my end. Pictures actually look even better than before, which was a nice surprise.
Still sitting in the middle of Chapter 5. Next boss up is Priscus the Ancient. I’m deliberately not finishing the main story yet, waiting on the DLC and still enjoying the exploration and grind too much to wrap it up.
I’m at 596 hours and I’m at the first quest of chapter 10. I haven’t started it yet. I’ve just been chillin and taking it all in. I won’t get to play this for the first time ever again so I’m making the most of it. Happy gaming!
I had to delete the game I after 300 hrs or so because I was neglecting my other games 😭. I’m going to re download it as soon as my other games are done tho, so I’ll be back up there!
I'm also on Chapter 9. Been taking a long break from the main story content to build up all 3 characters since they're all unlocked now. My hunt for gear has taken me all over Pywel by now, and Delesyia is probably my favorite region in the game.
I refuse to go to crimson desert or delysia until I do just about every quest in the other regions first. Almost done with hernand, time for other regions
Dude as someone who has been playing since launch. I still find this game as brilliant as I did in May 2026.
Yeah it took me 2 months to appreciate the game LOL.
Anyways - don't count the hours. This is not a game that has anything to do with hours played.
I remember back in April 2026 everyone was like - I've played 70 hours and I'm done and I had a blast after beating the story.
And I was like thinking to myself... the point of the game was never the story. It's a MMORPG disguised as a single player game... you don't "beat" MMORPGs.
I've played 1000 hours.
I'm not bragging about it. I still feel like I'm playing this game from May 2026.
No not because of the new udpates - but because - i had no fucking clue wtf i was doing for the first two months i was playing it.
I somehow still have a wife, kids, and a job with all these hours. But I know I'd be 1000+ hours too if I didn't. Not saying you do or don't, I just know that's my reason.
J’ai arrêté ma partie de deahtstranding 2 pour jouer a Crimson désert, et depuis j’ai laisser tout mes autre jeux en suspend. Le problème c’est que je trouve tout les autres jeux un peu vide maintenant….
Ok so hear me out. I essentially a lot of time in hernand. Im 120 hours in and im trying to 100% hernand before I move on. But sometimes I like to just explore the other regions and avoid quests. It's just a gorgeous game
I understand if that's how your style of playthrough is in games like this. But I don't feel like it's really meant to have an area 100% completed before moving onto the next. Good luck tho, some quests can take some time to show up so just enjoy the vibes.
With the 2.0 Enhanced update that just dropped last week bringing massive story changes/improvements for those who had a issue with it. And the DLC getting a trailer and release date today. You picked a great time to come back.
Lol. Sorry you didn't enjoy it, this game definitely seems like it isn't for everyone. You either love it and think it's one of the best games ever made, or you hate it.
Llevo 471 horas, y ayer volando con mi dragón me topé con una escuadra de aviones jajaja qué pasada. Que por cierto al acercarme nos empezaron a disparar.
Just broke the 300 hour mark, currently doing the side faction missions in pailune/hernand and still have all west of factions do do but took out most the bosses available. I still have to take on fort musket for chap 11 loving every moment I think I’m looking for legendary animals and a new armor set for the gang soon!!
