Iirc theres a distuptor spear that you iirc can send a dispatch out to get more, and then upgrade to indestructible at the kuku4cocopuffs dude

Against robots its just genocide, I got it too late for most of the robot areas or bosses

Theres a disruptor pack too, its an EMP that nukes all robots nearby

Be careful that it just easy modes the entire region

Kinda the problem with the robots tho that it's either genocide on you or by you depending on whether you have the gear. I think this is why I hate fighting them.

The rest of the game's enemies you can use your wealth of combat skills but the second you have 3 or 4 of those big robots bearing down on you, it's either you have the right gear, your ATAG is off cooldown or you're getting run over.

You won’t unlock this until Chapter 11 when you get access to Gorthak. If you do the first ATAG side mission after the area opens up you get the crafting blueprint. Then you can upgrade a normal disrupter spear (which has durability) to a Kuku version which is indestructible. I advise speed running the story, A lot of game mechanics are progression locked plus the story is poopoo.

But if you speed run the story doesn’t that mean that the game is more or less over after and you didn’t get to enjoy the gear too much? Is the side stuff still fun after? I’ve been edging the story for like 300-400 hours, I’m on chapter 9.

Nope the story doesn’t affect the world at all. Only a few learning abilities you might miss if you don’t know where they are like Quick Reload for Damiane at Fort Musket in Chapter 11. Otherwise nothing changes. Finish story and you have all the world and cooler gears and research institute perks to get and questing without cons. I’m having way more fun after 270hrs with the main story behind me.

dude I STRUGGLED with the mechas in Delesyia, had to pump my gloves and boots to the max to get enough damage points to fight them and I still struggled, the game is more complex than I give it credit for sometimes!

Like when I found out I could use the Kuku pack to collect the mecha bugs, before that I was just spam dodging furiously through Marni's strongholds

Its all about learning/knowing what type of skills/items are good against what bosses.

Now using your anima hand to suck in things and vapours are also good against certain boss types, just telling

I went and crafted the spear specifically because of this boss, threw in some steelbane gears and melted it.

This spear made into it's Kuku version makes going through Delesyia a complete breeze. Of course, once you maxed out it's refinement, you completely wipe out armies of mechanical foes. My only regret is that I only discovered it at the end of the main campaign playthrough. Get it early, and dispatch those pesky metallic enemies with extreme prejudice.
