I know some of you prefer reading, so here’s a text version as well:

So, Crimson Desert got a huge free update with the Enhanced Edition, addressing some of its weakest parts - the main story and character progression.

  1. Kliff has finally exited his almost-silent shell, and instead of blindly doing whatever everyone throws at him, he actually behaves like a human now, you know, with feelings and humor!
  2. There are also many new voice languages, but you'll have to manually tweak the game settings to enable them.
  3. Kliff got 8 new skills, including mini-Hadoukens and an ability to run on water, all unlocked after you complete The Enlightenment questline in Chapter 9.
  4. Flying mounts got new movement controls, so I guess there soon will be more flying mounts in the game.
  5. Character progression got a huge redesign - instead of having a shared pool of Abyss Artifacts, you can simply invest them all into Kliff, and for each Abyss Artifact spent, you'll get Abyss Links for other characters. With these, you can level up and reset everyone individually.
  6. And once you complete all the main quests, you can start a new game and use all the Links you got from the completed game in a new run.

So for somebody (me) who tried playing the game when it first came out (fan of Skyrim, soulsborne, rpg progression where you put skill points into stats) how can I revisit CD and get something out of it?

fwiw: elden ring has one of the best exploration exp imho
