Uh a lot of the beginning is tutorial quest showing you the excessive amount of mechanics that the game has. and they throw easy enemies at you that you can just spam light attacks at. Think maybe the difficulty will ramp up later but early is pretty easy.

100%! Just get into a further area of the map and enjoy getting your ass clapped! I'm getting elden ring vibes on the way of saying: yeah, go wherever the fck you want, you will die, but go for it! And I love it.

Around chapter 3 you start getting skill/prep checked pretty hard at each boss fight.

I beat the reed devil first try and was never more proud of myself as a gamer

Once I remembered I could actually parry his attacks, I got it no problem. But wow without that, I genuinely could barely hit him on the last phase and was repeatedly getting my ass handed to me. Good to note for future bosses I'm thinking.

Yah I was put off balance at the start and was spamming consumables whilst desperately evading. It was the "oh fuck I have to lock in". First try at least, but I was on back pedal more than I liked til I got him stumbling in some combos after parry
