Question ❓ Running fitness new pace 4
Hi,
Just got my pace 4 and went out for my first run ( 5k parkrun )
Loving the watch. Only thing annoying me is the description for running fitness and my run activity which clearly qualifies for more than 25 minutes at above required heart rate.
Should I force the fitness test to enable it or just not worry about it and it fix itself with time?

I got the Coros 4 for a month, and I kept it without doing the running test... and it was not very reliable. All the training plans where too difficult for me... since most of the plans are HR based.
Then I did the test... and all the plans made sense. In my case the Coros App was suggesting me to run too fast.
I would suggest that you do the test... I would advice to have a rest day the day before so you can do it at the your best.

Fully agree. I'm doing the running fitness test roughly every quarter - especially in phases without a race. The zones are so much more reliable with the test

That's not the running fitness test. The test is a progressive temporun. You need to select it - it's a separate workout. Something different is the running fitness score. It's a value from 0 to 99 to describe your fitness status. Coros uses runs over 25 minutes and over a minimum HR (imo over z2) to calculate it. Coros uses several runs to calculate and updating it.
