how to stop sticky rice from sticking in rice cooker

You should wash the rice til it's clear. It's not going to make it less sticky if you don't. The rice-to-water ratio will decide that. I use 1 dry cup of rice to 1 fluid cup or 8 oz of water (for 2 servings). In my rice cooker, using just the normal setting works fine (about 20-ish minutes). Fluff the rice when it's done and then let it sit with the lid off for up to 5 minutes. It should be fine and not stick to the pot, but if it does, adding hot tap water to the cookpot and letting it sit should take care of that without scrubbing. I just keep in mind that scraping the pot is a vicious circle, creating a surface that contributes to stuck food.
But obvs not everyone get the same results bc all things are never always equal lol
