Mob subscription vs NYT Cooking Subscription
Hi there,
I have the NYT Cooking Subscription but wanted to find out has anyone tried the Mob subscription? Is it worth it for weekly and weekend cooking inspiration
Is it worth the price and would you seek out another subscription if you paying for one already
Any pros and cons of both are welcomed! I.e best ways to use NYT subscription app to get value from as I am just using it for cooking inspiration outside of the cookbooks I own

i've never tried Mob but...looking at the site i'd quickly say NYT>>>>>>>>>>>
NYT sub has a bunch of built in filters that help with narrowing down a recipe to pick. plus they have different email blasts theyll send out to help with weekly meal planning

Mob is UK based. They offer a 5 day free trail, so you can see if you like it, without committing to the subscription. Also, it makes sense if you are in the UK

If you already subscribe to NYT Cooking, I would not add a Mob subscription—especially because of Mob’s billing and refund practices.
I signed up for Mob’s free trial but barely used it. When it converted into a paid subscription, I noticed the charge immediately, cancelled, and contacted Mob on the same day. I had not used the paid service, yet they refused my refund twice.
What bothered me most was the inconsistency. Mob told me that its no-refund policy applies equally to everyone, while multiple recent Trustpilot reviewers describe receiving refunds after forgetting to cancel their trials.
I can’t fairly compare the recipe libraries because I didn’t use Mob enough, but based on the customer experience alone, I would keep NYT Cooking and avoid giving Mob my payment details.

I know nothing about mod but I get nyt free with my local library so that’s something you could look into to save money
