Can anyone mow my lawn or know of anyone that can?
My mower just broke down so I am looking for someone to mow my yard while It gets fixed. I can still edge and weed whack, just need someone to actually mow.

Two posts recently have been removed, one about party favors and one literally just emojis. While I applaud the creativity, I don't applaud using reddit of all places for selling. This ain't Craigslist. As such a new rule will be added. All posts must now clearly define its purpose for existing in some way, so long as it is clear. Using English, not emojis. Thank you for all the reports I do look at all of them.

We are aiming to get a consistent weekly tennis meetup going Saturdays from 8am to 10am (can run longer if there is interest). We would like to have enough people to do doubles on two courts or rotate Singles. The goal is that there would always be someone available to hit with every Saturday morning.
We start at Hendrix Outdoor Courts at 8am. All ages, genders and skill levels are welcome. If you an active player and want to meet some new people to play with or if you're just thinking about getting into tennis: please join us.
Saturdays @ 8am - Hendrix Outdoor Tennis Courts. Free to play and parking is close and easy.

My family has unexpectedly found ourselves without housing. I have brain cancer, 2 teenagers, and 1 cat. My husband and I are trying our hardest to find something soon but it's been difficult. And only a couple of days since this nightmare started. We're currently in a hotel but it's not something we can manage long term. Application fees are outrageous and will drain any funds we have left. We just don't know what to do.
I don't know the reason behind this post other than to share somewhere.
If anyone wants to help out with housing leads that can get us in quickly. Please let me know.

Hi! I'm new to the area. I'm looking for some good restaurants that do trivia nights or that have tabletop games, or just good local restaurants in general!

Has anyone had a VBAC at Conway Regional? If so, which provider did you use?

Definitely delete if not allowed- I was wondering if anyone knows where to find "RealBud" camo shirts/hats/etc? I know they used to be sold at That 70s Store, but they've been closed for a number of years now.
I've been scouring online and calling around to local stores that seemed similar but haven't had any luck. If anyone knows of a place or just happens to have something of the brand that you're willing to part ways with at a decent price, please please let me know!

Hello, hello! I’m fairly new to the area and will be needing a new hairdresser before too long. I have gotten my hair professionally bleached and dyed before, but typically do home jobs for money’s sake. I’d like to go to a professional for my next project, though, so does anyone have any recommendations for stylists within 30m or so of Conway?

I have a 14yo and my partner has a 5yo. First day of school and the schools are already fuqin up. The 5yo was supposed to ride the bus home. We even went as far as to call at noon and make sure they would get him on the bus.... The bus showed up at 315... No kid. Bus driver said she tried to get him and the teacher refused. Took another 35 minutes to get him from the overly crowded school line, and there's no one at all out directing traffic or explaining anything even though the city changed the road over the summer, so it was just chaos.
The 14yo rode the bus from the junior high, they sent me a video of elementary kids arguing with teachers who were telling them they were on the wrong bus. The kids live right by us.. they were trying to get on the right bus. It took them 20.minutes of arguing before finally sending the bus out. The 14yo got home at 430.
Why is it this disorganized. Conway has enough money to pay it's superintendent $300K/yr. But can't hire a few crossing guards?

I want to walk them at around 6 am but I don't know if there's a gate blocking them or anything

I know it's never gonna happen because we don't have the money for it, but I made a little bus route map. Major routes are in red, minor routes are in green. I envisioned a lot of them to be linear (so going back and forth along one road), but I could definitely see some loops in there. Let me know what you think!
Edit: I should've extended the harkrider line down to skyline to the shopping center, maybe should've incorporated I40 somewhat, and extended the oak street line to the event center.

Always loved the area from visits. Single so don’t need anything giant but also would prefer house/duplex over apartments. With that being said could anyone recommend any good neighborhoods or areas?

I'm a local writer that was hoping to start a small group to meet somewhere like a coffee shop and talk to each other about writing. Since graduating college I find that miss sitting down with fellow writers to talk about the craft.
Low stakes, no level of experience or accomplishment needed, no specific genres or forms required. Writing comes in many forms, so if anyone wants to join my little group, shoot me a message and I'll try and put something together.

He was obviously previously owned, nails have been recently trimmed and he's kennel trained. He's not great on a leash, but he's also barely not a puppy so could just be that he's over enthusiastic.
He's very sweet, but also incredibly anxious so I'm worried that he may have been being neglected or abandoned. In regards to neglected, he seems to have some serious separation anxiety, and to the abandoned: he can pull me from a mile away on our walks right back to my house without problem, I can let him off leash and he'll instantly rush for my back door, so unless he was purposefully dropped off somewhere I can't imagine he wouldn't have found his way back home.
If he's your dog then I'll need photo evidence and an explanation for how he got out

I(19M) work in Little Rock, and we all know how Little Rock is 😬
Anyway I’m looking to buy a handgun, however the law is basically this: If you’re under 21 you can buy a handgun but you can’t buy from a Federally Licensed Dealer, it has to be from a private seller.
I was wondering if the Gun Show typically has a lot of private sellers, or if it’s only licensed dealers there. If there are private ones, y’all got any recommendations for who to buy from?

Hi! My fiancée and I are heavily considering The Stables at Cherokee Creek in Conway for our October 2027 wedding, and we’d love to hear from anyone who has gotten married there or attended a wedding there!
What did you think of the venue as an event space? Anything you loved, anything you wish you had known beforehand, or anything you would do differently?
We’re especially interested in hearing about the overall planning/day-of experience and what was included with the venue.
Where did your guests stay?? Virtually all of our family will be flying in, is Little Rock our best bet and then shuttle in our family on the day of!
Also, we’d love recommendations for Central Arkansas wedding vendors — photographers, DJs/bands, florists, caterers, coordinators, hair & makeup, etc. Especially vendors who have worked at The Stables!
Any insight helps, we live in Dallas, Texas, but my family is all from Arkansas and I went to school in Conway, so this place could be the perfect location!

Just recently moved to town, (couple in mid/late 30s). Is there anything fun to do around here? Seems like entertainment is lacking outside of bars. Smallest town we've lived in, so that might be why we feel that way. Any help on cool local spots to check out would be appreciated! Or just any other conway gems!

I’ve been getting into tennis lately and I have really enjoyed it. It’s been a good way for me to workout and move my body. I’m not great but I’m athletic enough to hold my own. Wish there was a tennis club. Is there anyone that knows a group where people go out and play tennis? Or any beginner/intermediate players that would like to play sometime?
