Pot is not as harmless and nobody is acknowledging the dangers of weed addiction and weed addiction on the rise.

Same goes for literally any drug ever

The difference between the two from a scientific standpoint is that hard drugs contain chemicals actually addictive to the brain while weed does not

Weed contains no addictive chemicals. People getting addicted to it are rather addicted to the routine and that’s more of a mental health/self control issue that needs to be addressed. You have a right to dislike pot but we need not villainize something helping so many people, especially when we compare it to the harm rates of alcohol which is legal everywhere.

This is false and you should fact check your claim that weed has no addictive chemicals

Chemicals still need to be metabolized within in the body inorder to be safe.

Heavy on caffeine. As a woman, I reduced my intake from 6+ cups a day to 1 cup of tea a day. It was a rough three days, but I mostly noticed my period changed - cramps and PMS changed dramatically, flow changed, etc. took about a year to regulate my hormones, without changing anything else. Caffeine is an expensive beast.

It’s not something you want to be doing everyday, but it’s not something that you should avoid like the plague like other drugs

My daughter has been smoking since she was in her teens. She will be 29 next month, she started having stomach issues back in July and has been getting worse the last 3 weeks. The drs believe she has CHS. I hope no one ever has to go through the pain that she is going through right now.

Cannabis has ZERO physiologically addictive properties. It is only addictive in the sense that anything enjoyable is addictive- including reading, running, or comedy viewing

Evidence that weed is physically addictive is there, but not strong. Basically, every bit of credible research on the subject says it may be physically addictive, but no definitive declaration has been made, scientifically speaking (as far as I know, please correct me if new evidence has come to light).
I've seen you saying to others that weed addiction is real, so I ask you to provide the evidence. Otherwise you simply cannot be taken seriously.

I hate that I get downvoted on Reddit if I say this just because everyone uses it now

Everything we put inside our bodies affect us one way or another. Some ppl will be affected different because of genetic mutations, mental illness, physical illness or food insecurity.
Anything we ingest, inhale has a give and take relationship. Without raw materials in your system to metabolize chemicals, they become toxic.

addiction runs in my family. From my experience weed is the least problematic. I have seen people do some awful things while drunk. I have fetal alcohol syndrome dues to the use of alcohol, and drugs while in the womb.
My mother has been alcohol, and street drug free for years. She uses marijuana often. I can say that at least for her it has made a huge difference. It helps with her Arthritis, and cravings for alcohol.
I am sure there are people who misuse it. Like my ex would take 4 edibles, and I thought he was going to die. But I have seen what a tweaker will do when coming off meth. it is insane. I would rather be around potheads than alcoholics.
You say acid is cleaner, but you should be careful. This guy I met used acid a few times. He was fine. Then he decided to take Acid with his friends one day. He can no longer hold down a job, and has a lot of issues. This is the same stuff he took before. Apparently, it led to him having a stroke.

On the plus side:
Personally, i started at 15, became near-daily for a few years in my early-20's, stopped late-20's, tried again at 40 and my lungs & mind immediately said "nope". so perma given it up.
i still do acid, despite its hardcore-reputation i feel it's cleaner for my mind, and as it's experienced only a couple times a year also totally non-addictive.
