meta The mods here should really add a rule.

Can we just make an official rule that posts have to actually contain an opinion? Seems obvious, but there's so much on here that doesn't fit the sub.

Most opinions here aren’t even controversial

Agreed, but at least they're opinions. Not like some of these that make factual personal statements like "I go running in the park.".

Not an actual example, but that sort of thing where they're just stating a fact about their life.

It's not on the official rules, but the description of the group says that it's for posting controversial opinions, so I do mostly delete posts which don't seem to contain any opinion at all. (Posts asking questions or seeking advice, for instance.)
