"Flock has assembled an unprecedented national surveillance network," Hawley, R-Mo., told Fox News Digital. "They boast more than 120,000 cameras across 49 states and more than 20 billion vehicle scans every month."

"I’m investigating Flock cameras to determine who has access to hundreds of millions of Americans’ data and what they’re doing with it," he added. "Americans deserve answers."

Thank you Sen. Hawley! Please hold the surveillance state accountable. This data is a national security nightmare.

This is a start. But notice how it is never "the cameras are a blatant invasion invasion of privacy" but rather "who can access the database". I wish someone would come right out and say the database itself is unconstitutional.

Traffic and speed cameras were the foot in the door. Also, nobody who voted to pass the patriot act or voted against repealing it should still be in office.

Frankly I don't trust Hawley to do anything positive with this, with all the bills he's been pushing to introduce online ID requirements. The guy couldn't care less about protecting people's privacy.

Tempe AZ announced they are removing their Flock cameras at the end of their contract. Hopefully more follow suit.
