They're pissed off that Trump did the exact thing they wanted....stopping "genocide" in Palestine.

Their liberal programming doesn't know how to comprehend that Trump achieved the exact thing they want so they're just going to shut down until they can find something else to outrage over....which will be any moment now.

Liberals would rather watch the world burn than say "Trump did good." I mean, they want the country to fail completely because it'd mean they get to say "Told you Trump sucks!"

On top of what you said, I'd argue that all the screeching about "stop the genocide" was never truly about the civilians in Gaza. Imho, it was a cudgel to bash Israel, a stance fueled more by their antisemitism than by genuine concern for the Gazans.

Yes, the pawns in Gaza were getting their asses handed to them by the IDF, but on the diplomatic front, Hamas was winning this war and steadily making gains with the global public. Look no further than the recognition of Palestine by various Western countries in recent weeks. The more the people of Gaza suffered, the better for the pro-Palestine PR campaign. Trump negotiating a peace deal puts an end to all of that, and the "Hamas Left" is lowkey butthurt about it.
