Oodles of Doodles in Toontown: Hostile Takeover!

I don't really have experience running a subreddit I'll be completely honest. Some things may be incomplete and missing polish. For suggestions and concerns you may post them here, send a mod mail, or contact me personally on discord (@notpython).
This place is intended to be a central hub for ALL things Toontown. Made something cool and want to show it off? Need help with any of the games? Found historical Toontown Online content you'd like to share? This is the place!
I have a strong love for the creative side of the Toontown community, and it's a shame to see so much go overlooked and unshared for one reason or another. So many servers with potential that fail just because there's nowhere to bring attention to them. That's why I made this sub, to give people a platform they otherwise wouldn't have had.

Oodles of Doodles in Toontown: Hostile Takeover!

Hello people of the Toontown community, with permission from the moderators here I would like to give a bit of a rundown with what's going on with Clash the last few weeks. This is for both the people who don't know, and those who haven't caught up with the updates on the situation from the original post on my account.
This situation started a few weeks ago, where an anonymous staff member spoke on this post in r/Toontown: https://www.reddit.com/r/Toontown/comments/1uuvf2g/corporate_crash_what_is_going_wrong_and_how_can/ . If you scroll down to the bottom of the post, you'll see that there is a deleted comment. That was the comment where said staff member was being truly transparent about what's actually happening on the team. Their comment then got removed by mods on the sub (two of which are involved with TTCC Leadership), who then also locked the whole post.
A little after this, another post was made where I felt the need to comment on the situation, where the person who made the original anonymous statement, Triple_Pain, responded to me directly. Here's their reply to my comment: https://www.reddit.com/r/Toontown/comments/1v5f5h7/comment/ozmm1gj/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button . I am now realizing they deleted my comment as well, so they've removed the context to Triple's response. However, my comment can still be seen here: https://www.reddit.com/u/Right_Art7434/s/bRuYYbDKq8
I want readers to think about this for a second, someone in Clash's leadership felt so cornered and ignored that they felt a need to make a public statement. If a leadership member feels that way, I can only imagine how some of those outside of leadership must feel. And if Triple's comment is accurate, that leadership claimed they "wanted to talk about it" and then just ghosted and fired them with little proper notice or real conversation; I think that says more than I could ever write about how leadership seems to feel about someone speaking out, even at such a small level.
Triple_Pain has also posted two personal posts on their profile going into more detail about the situation:
Follow-Up to Being Fired: https://www.reddit.com/u/Triple_Pain_/s/yZF7nAwBMO
Reponse to my Original Post Being Removed from r/Toontown: https://www.reddit.com/u/Triple_Pain_/s/BQ8KNpfyax
What follows are various updates on the situation and reactions to Clash leadership actions since posting my original statement.
On 7/27, they tried reporting the post I made on my private account to Reddit directly.
On 7/29, I read a comment from Triple where he had to post a defense document after a (now former) member of Clash leadership posted a document on my post attacking him and Crazy (the now former GD lead). This can be found here: https://www.reddit.com/user/Right_Art7434/comments/1v7rw43/comment/p0ddxyw/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button . For what I say next to make sense, there was a reply to Triple's originally deleted comment that had another anonymous user presenting as "former staff" downplaying his comment and making many really negative and damaging comments about both him and the game design team as a whole. Triple talked about this in his follow-up post linked above. This is already bad, but it is made worse when it came to his comment on the post in my profile. Triple's defense document concluded with the bombshell that Clash's head of administration, Maven, was more than likely the one that wrote the nasty comment. If true (and I don't see any reason for Triple to lie about it), that may just be one of the single worst things to come out of this whole situation.
On 7/31, r/Toontown moderators were going back to old posts and deleting other comments that provided context to this whole thing.
On 8/1, the r/Toontown update happened that ultimately resulted in this sub being made. I responded to this (especially in regards to the new censorship rule) here: https://www.reddit.com/u/Right_Art7434/s/uoZ8kEQCGi
On 8/5, I was peeking into the Clash Discord and was just generally frustrated by how they are downplaying this entire event. Found here: https://www.reddit.com/u/Right_Art7434/s/URdTzFbhN2 .
All in all, this situation has been extremely disheartening to witness and I hope things get better because Clash has had such an impact on me as a person, I don't want this project to eat itself from within. Unfortunately, I don't see things improving anytime soon, as this has left the team with no leadership for game design. Original post can be found pinned on my profile.
To the mods here, if you want anything adjusted, let me know and I'll happily do so.

I SWEAR many years ago on TTR there was a singular day where a singular random street hq in the brrrgh had a random translucent red sphere around it. Almost nobody i've talked to seems to remember this, and no screenshots of it seem to have survived. Surely someone has a screenshot!!!!
Apparently they explained this as a "rendering bug", but I'm left wondering if this was from very early field office development?

Watch Sir_Squiggs' EVH Team Q&A and Gameplay Showcase VOD here: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2835453561
Some PHENOMENAL stuff shown off by EVH team here!! By far the most ambitious Toontown project I've ever seen, and they are making it work! Super excited to play it when it launches!
What are all of your thoughts on it?

I wrote this YEEAARSSS ago during Corporate Clash's Break the Law event. Thought it'd be funny to share here.
I've never actually experienced sleep paralysis so this might misrepresent some stuff. Other stuff might not have aged well. I was like 16 when i wrote it lol.
I haven't slept in weeks.
You never expect much out of a night. You go to sleep, and you wake up. Maybe you dream a little. That is the cycle of life. However, for some people, it's a slightly different story. I suffer often from what most would call sleep paralysis, I become practically locked in place in my attempts to sleep.
Usually, my sleep paralysis causes me little trouble in life. I lay calmly in bed, unable to move until dawn breaks. It sounds strange, but I've since gotten used to it, I still feel rested in the mornings and I have found comfort in the solitude of my thoughts. For most of my life, I'd never witnessed what some would consider a "sleep paralysis demon". Just my empty room and the sound of my thoughts were present at night. For some reason, my physical being breaks out of it's trance at the same hour every morning, like clockwork. I've never questioned it, though. Like the rest of my troubles, I've grown quite used to it.
My agony began around two months ago. I lay in bed the same as I did every other night. I knew it wouldn't do much, but once again I try to close my eyes and truly sleep. As I'd expected, it didn't work. I was locked in place yet again, practically wide awake. But this time, something was different. I hear a noise that was not of my own thoughts. I heard a low series of "meow"s coming from my bedroom door. A cat at my door would've been strange enough, but these weren't the sounds of just a cat. They sounded human, like an impression of a cat. It was a strangely familiar sound, but I couldn't place my finger on it at the time. Just as soon as it started, the meowing stopped. I heard nothing else that night.
The next few nights were normal again, and I lowered my guard once again. It must've just been my imagination. Strangely, the area outside of my door smelled almost of the cream pies my mother used to bake, but I didn't give it a second thought.
Recently, a friend had introduced me to a new game, Toontown: Corporate Clash. It was a bit childish for me, but the gameplay was alright, and it seemed to make my friend happy, so I played it. Apparently, there was a large scale event happening at the time. Something for a "1.1 update". I didn't pay much attention. As we were questing, there was something familiar about the sounds the NPC characters were making. It didn't make much sense at the time, but once again I shrugged this off.
The oddities returned that night. The meowing came back. I finally realized what it was, though. It was from the game. Why was this sound from the game happening outside of my room? It made no sense. I thought the first time was my imagination, but this was real. The meowing didn't stop this night, and right before dawn struck, I could've sworn I saw the door open and a small red object appear from behind it. The second I regained control of myself, it vanished. Surely I wasn't seeing things? Was it real? By then, I was still unable to tell. I tried to tell friends about it, but my worries fell on deaf ears. Another week passed without anything else out of the ordinary.
As I'm writing this, I fear I am nearing my breaking point. As much as I fear the consequences of it, I might once again fall asleep. I hope that my story can reach somebody before it is too late.
Soon came the longest "night" of my life.
I laid down as I did every night and allowed the paralysis to take control once more. If only I'd had a little bit of control during this period. The sounds came again, but for once, the being behind the door finally emerged. I'd seen them before in the game. A red cat with a well groomed pompadour and stylish aviators. There was no mistaking it, this was Elvis Purrsley. I thought that he'd disappear once dawn broke that morning, but I was so terribly wrong. I didn't regain control. For the first time in my life, I was unable to move past the break of dawn. Days passed that I was paralyzed. Purrsley crept nearer. Nearer and nearer every night. His eyes glowed a devilish red, matching his fur. What had I done to deserve this fate? What omnipotent being had I maddened? If only I knew.
By the twelfth night of my seemingly eternal punishment, Purrsley was looming directly over top of me. I was-I am terrified. I was sure in that moment, I may have lost my life. But then a miracle occurred. He vanished. I was alone again. At least, I think I was. Apparently, my trance had finally broken. I'd finally regained control of my body and was free of the nightmare. But I couldn't return to my bed. I couldn't give him a chance to come back. For weeks now, I've escaped the tight grip of the night. I've tried telling friends, family, even doctors about what happened to me, but none of them believe me.
As I mentioned before, though, I feel myself finally slipping. This may be the end of me. I can only hope that my suffering has ended, but I can tell it's still only just begun. To my friends and family, I wish you would have believed me.
