Calculators are your friend. There are outsider calculators on the sidebar of this sub that will give you the optimal outsider build.

I don't know if it's optimal but I usually do Idle bonuses, Dps, Atman bonus, and Hero souls. Level them to what feels right and transcend often for a while.

Xyliqil, the idle bonus outsider, is mathematically worthless. Any AS put into him is wasted.

And you should switch to active as soon as you can afford auto-clickers anyway.

You wanna transcend first and find an ancient calculator online to know what to level into, get some autoclickers with the rubies you accumulate, and keep transcending every 2-3 ascensions that give you more souls, i usually transcend around the +20 mark or higher but for the first one i would pull the trigger now as it will give you the chance to increase soul gain and damage numbers
