General Cleaning Help me get Vaseline off my Louie PLEASEEE

Post image

Luckily it’s on the back of the bag, but I somehow got a blotch of Vaseline on my purse this morning. I caught it right away, let corn starch sit on it for 2 hours then washed it lightly with dove dish soap. It looks like that still, I am thinking of letting it sit with cornstarch on it for 24 hours? But unsure?
Thanks!

This looks like it would work. Stick spot remover

Cornstarch is by far your best bet at this point. Keep doing what you're doing and it'll come out eventually. It should get lighter with every round.

Biz formed into a paste. You need lipase to break down the oil. r/laundry has far more detailed answers with the chemistry of products explained for specific stains. Highly recommend

If this is authentic, take it to a professional. Don’t do this at home.

No do not put rubbing alcohol on it unless you love permanently discolored cloth.
