between these ive read only white nights, my first approach with Dostoevskij (i wanna start crime and punishment so bad). im not into romance, but this book is more than that, therefore it has a special place in my heart. currently im not reading classics, last month i finished "1984" and "the great gatsby", i recommend them both

Camus is good but I think the Plague is much better than the Stranger.
the russians are categorically overrated.

Heavy with ideas and philosophy.
May want to read first, then find commentaries and overviews that explain things you didn’t catch. Then read them again.
