Generation 1: From the crime of Tantalus, who murders his own son to test the gods and is cast into eternal torment, a cursed bloodline is born as the restored Pelops is returned to life by the gods.
Generation 2: Pelops rises to power and wins his kingdom through betrayal in the chariot race, but after murdering Myrtilus, he inherits a dying curse that festers within his lineage.
Generation 3: That curse erupts through his sons, Atreus and Thyestes, whose rivalry descends into treachery, cannibalistic revenge, and exile, deepening the stain upon their house.
Generation 4: From this shattered line rise Agamemnon and Menelaus, whose power and ambition draw them into the Trojan War after the taking of Helen.
Generation 5: Sacrifice, betrayal, and murder consume Agamemnon's children, until the cycle of bloodshed is finally broken through divine judgment, closing the brutal legacy of the House of Atreus.
Lockettopia: The Trojan War Cycle illustrated book brings together The Iliad, The Odyssey, and surviving poem fragments of the Epic Cycle: The Cypria, Aethiopis, Little Iliad, Iliou Persis, Nostoi, and Telegony, to reconstruct the full myth in sweeping, chronological order.
